Note: As per information received claims from Deputy Commissioners, 1133 claims of Rehabilitation Grant are reportedly reject and 2136 such claims are pending . Out of 2136 claims, 33 have been found in order and payment of amount of Rehabilitation grant would be made in a due course. All the Deputy Commissioners have been impressed upon to reverify/ verify all the rejected/pending claims. Besides, 15005 applications for issuance of Red Identity Cards to victims of 1984 riots have been received by the Deputy Commissioners, which have been/are being verified by them. The families which are found to the real riot victims would be issued the Red Identity Cards and they would also be eligible for the Rehabilitation Grant.
